1. NOTHING to
eat or drink one (1) hour
before the test.
2. Patient must STOP
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING
medications two (2) weeks
prior to the UBT test:
- Protonix
- Aciphex
- Nexium
- Prilosec
- Prevacid
- Antimicrobials
- Bismuth
- Pepto bismal
3. Patient should be
aware that the test drug
contains phenulalanine
which should NOT be taken by
patients with phenylketonurics.
